Minimal period for rent is 24 hours. If the Renter reverts car later than one hour of fixed term in agreement then the payment composes fee for one more day.
Minimum age required to rent a car is 21 with at least 2 years experience.
Documents required - passport and driving licence, issued at least 2 years ago.
Rental fee is collected for all rental period in advance.
Payments are possible by cash or via bank transfer. We accept currencies of all countries and the particular currency is then converted to Latvian Lats (LVL) according to the official currency exchange rate of the Bank of Latvia.
Insurance. All cars are insured. We have public liability insurance (OCTA) and voluntary insurance (CASCO).
Liability for every car in case of collission is 200 LVL (280 EUR) maximum. In case of car theft or car's complete damage extra fee is 400 LVL (570 EUR). If renter has lost car key or car documents, extra fee is 100 LVL (140 EUR).
Fuel is not included in rental fee. All cars are rented with full tank of gasoline. If car is returned with less than a full tank, extra fee is 1 LVL (1,40 EUR) per litre.
Driving limits. Driving outside Latvia is allowed only with a written permission of Krons Auto.
